So they scheduled the Gonzalas Hearings for the 6th--on the other hand that means that GOnzalas may be a throw away--they knew he wouldnt stand up to scrutiny, they knew he was too scandalous, they knew the hearings would dominate the news cycle. And then they could throw Gonzo out with the bathwater.
