200 Protesters in DC on Jan 6th?

I suspect reuters got it wrong (what, a MSM outlet getting something wrong? Whoever heard of such a thing!) but they said that about 200 protesters were at the Capitol today. Was it really that few? I figured we would have a couple of hundred from DU alone.

So my question is directed at those who were there. What is your estimation of the numbers at the rally?

Which must be why we got stiffed and the Ukraine got their election overturned.

That's not a very good turnout at all. At least we were heard in the Chambers. So my guess would be that the vast majority of people who are planning to protest will do so on Jan 20th?

3. I hope so- we need thousands on the 20th to be in DC.

AND in other cities around the country. We need to show our strength and our numbers- because there are thousands of us who deserve to have our voices heard.

I'll be there on the 20th. Anyone else heading to DC? We need to start organizing a DU meeting place.

4. I was there. I'd say 400. More people will show up on 1/20 b/c

the organizers have been planning longer. Also more groups are involved and even people who aren't out here in the blog-o-sphere are well aware that W. will be coronated that day. Remember most people in America still get their news from the corporate MSM. They have no idea of the scope of the fraud in this election. Even if they had half a clue; they probably read that the Ohio recount hardly changed the total. The MSM never reported that the rcount was more crooked than the election.

Plus the bonus prize on 1/20 is a chance to boo the chimp in the flesh.

...but no less and maybe closer to 1000 during the peak hour.

I was looking on from the side of the D.C. Capitol around one o'clock as several hundred protestors were marching toward us from Lafayette Square -- that's several blocks away -- and it was an inspiration! I think that was the biggest object-to-the-electors march, and there were enough people there to satisfy me. I thought I might start crying for joy.

Folks, I think we have a budding movement.

That was probably one of the moments where I shouted "YES!" at the top of my lungs. Most of the rally -- sadly, I kind of had to leave at 2:45 in the afternoon -- was like a gospel revival or something for me. Greens coming together with progressive Democrats. Appreciating the Libertarians. Dozens of LaRouche youngsters. Big 'ol melting pot!

There were 50 people from my Ohio group alone and we were just a smidgeon of the people who were there.

10. From the replies you got, the number of protesters

depends on what time of day you checked out the rally. So I'm sure the MSM waited to the very end, as everyone was leaving to get a head count.

11. I was at Redefeat Bush rally in Senate Park...

Didn't get there early enough to get to Lafayette Park. I was very disappointed in the crowd there, especially since I had come all the way from South Carolina and took the day off from work to do so. I'd say 2-3 hundred at most. Maybe much of the crowd was dispersed by that time, but I did get there by 12:00 when it was supposed to start. Maybe lots are planning to come on the 20th but I think anyone paying close attention to this would have realized that this date was MUCH more important and needed to be there for this one. I'll post pictures later when I have time...Back to work today.

would say 200 and 500+.
