And the things he quietly did in Ohio with the Glibs lawsuit, the money he gave in Washington and Louisiana were indications to me that he was serious and still is about making sure every vote counted. It is an ongoing process, the next step being election legislation. I hope to see movement there too.

Unlike others, I didn't discount the little things I saw him doing just because they weren't big things. I understood that without fire to go with that smoke, my obsessive compulsive candidate wasn't leaping out anywhere. Prosecutors need evidence. I don't think he could find enough of the hard stuff to make a concrete stand on. And if he didn't have it, I wouldn't want him to discredit the entire movement coming out without it and being trounced. That would have been the more damaging outcome in my eyes.

I don't expect you to see things my way either. But declaring a vendetta is a different matter. That's just wrong at this point. Do you really think you can maintain a three-year vendetta. Are you truly that pissed?

I'm sorry, but I know enough about the man to know he is a good man who doesn't deserve to be strung up on a cross. And at this point, we need all the Dems we can get. If you try to have him for lunch, I will be there suggesting vegetarian instead.
