It could only be a mistake if the rules were broken, in my opinion. Then again, I don't watch TV or listen to RW radio, so my perspective is less distorted compared to those who do. And I think that, sadly, a lot of people do.

...if the fight doesn't continue to an end result of verifiable voting, but no, not a mistake. The main accomplishment was to identify the vast majority of "elected" representatives who chose not to stand with us. Those of us so inclined will know who never to trust, ever again.

9. The mistake was not to follow through by voting against

certification. "74-1" left a horrid impression of how weak/cowardly the democratic senators are. Speaking for election reform and then voting for certification confirms the charge always leveled at Kerry--flip-flopping, not to mention blatant hypocrisy.

Highest praise to Boxer, Conyers, tubbs-Jones & the 33 House Democrats that had the courage of their convictions. If the other "senators" had half their courage, this could have been a magnificent show of defiance, courage and determination.
