Yesterday in the hearings...when Voinovitch said Bush took Ohio fair and square she stood up and said "That is a lie" She was arrested for obstructing Congress. Today she is being arraigned and having bond set. It could be quite high. Are there any DC lawyers that want to help her out? Can we raise her bond? I don't know how to help her as I am a stranger in a strange land.

Ideas? Legal advice for her? A lawyer?????????????

I'm surprised that she was arrested--the guy in charge said something like, "They will be removed if they cause further disturbance."

I am so glad she yelled out like that! She does deserve to be supported.

ACLU might be a place to start. The "obstruction" was momentary (a second or so) and she expressed herself in an outburst of passion due to failure of her elected official to represent her interest.

Not a result of pre-planned obstruction.
