We need to keep Boxer exploiting the nasty Bu*h administration. we need to also watch her back. When She gets flack for it. We need to back her with polls and emails and to speak out.

5. She's expressing how worried she is that the next time *

thinks up something really stuipid (these are my words, the Senator put it more diplomatically), that Condi won't set him straight or let him know he's about to put his foot in it again! She'll just go merrily along with her "husband". She's paid not to question and to push forth "his" agenda. Oh, great, a SOS that is just another Scott McClellan!

7. Obama said the same thing, only more diplomaticaly.

I know there were a lot of people on DU who weren't happy with the way Obama chose his words, I think he did very well. He's a freshman Senator, and there are many ways to get your point across. He was much milder than Boxer, but his message was the same. Condi's job is to tell the Pres. the truth, even if it's something he doesn't want to hear. He expressed his concerns that although her predicesor did that, she wouldn't.
