Bush: Open Mouth, Insert Foot
"For a political candidate to jump to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief"
--George W. Bush, today
Bush tried to defend himself today on the missing Iraq explosives by ignoring the truth, which is nothing new. Yet he then went a step farther out onto thin ice by claiming that a presidential candidate, which Bush is, should not jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.
Coming as this does from the man who jumped to conclusions without knowing the facts about Iraq’s WMD stockpiles and alleged links to terrorism and Al Qaeda, without waiting for the IAEA to confirm the WMD allegations, and without listening to his own NSA and State Department about Saddam’s capabilities, Bush’s pathetic criticisms should be turned back against him today by the Kerry campaign.
By Bush’s own criteria, the American people should not want George W. Bush as their commander in chief.
