Please watch this and share your comments. I realize it isn't exactly about the election results, but in a way, it IS about the media (though subjective) and therefore carries some interesting connotations to some of what we do here on DU (be the media?).

1. Interesting. I'm glad it turned out not to be so utopian....

the idea sounded creepy and good at the same time. The future is impossible to predict at this point--there are way too many things influencing it. Is it really true that Google acquired Tivo?

but I still thought is was fascinating and it was all so plausible.

As for Google acquiring TiVo, I don't know but maybe I should "google" it? ha. (searched Google acquisitions and found no tivo but did find the little clip we just watched listed at the bottom referenced by the acquisition "EPIC" - conjecture, 2014. pretty funny)

5. NIce sci-fi piece. Sci-fi is excellent social commentary on the now

and timeless commentary on the human condition but notoriously bad at predicting the technology of the future.
