1. I know! I know!
I saw that too!

Bush made a bee line for Lieberman and he DID lean in and kiss him on the cheek, and there was a two-second embrace going on!

There seemed to be some emotion behind all of this.

It was odd.

It was icky.

2. Lieberman is openly supporting his p.o.s. candidates, against
the wishes of his constituents and colleagues. Bush would probably do more than kiss him for that.

3. Face it, Lieberman is not one of us
Listen to him on C-Span, and 90% of the time he sounds like a repug.

13. It was close
But I think Leiberman avoided the fate of McCain. Now if he'd planted on on the guy's forehead, I'd be worried that Leiberman would be left without a soul like McCain, but he only got him on the neck. Whew.

Naw, Leiberman is still an "us." He campaigned for Kerry, so he's still an "us." He's not gone all the way to the dark side yet, like Zig Zag.

15. I strongly question your assertion.
It is imperative that we watch all Dems behaviors in the current and following months. What actions of achtuLieberman do you condone as "us"?
Like Hillary, it is of utmost importance to bring into question what their current stance is and does it battle for our needs. Not past laurels, but rather new forward momentum and acheivements to gain our final goal of election reform. This is the standard that all should be judged by. A strong united front is what we must demand of our congress.

the winds of change are blowing... do you feel the breeze?

11. Raul, I have often wondered myself, how Joe Lieberman could
have a rating from the Democratic group, ADA?, of something like 90% and yet, kiss a**h***s a** and expect us to think that he is a liberal Dem???? All the Connecticut Dems need to work to get his ass out of office. I don't care that he has a rating of whatever from the ADA, he gets on TV and kisses the Pubs asses. WHY????? We need a fighter like Lowell Weicker,(who by the way was a Republican!) back in office. A fighter, in other words! At least we knew where he stood and he usually voted with the Dems or with the liberal view. Why in the hell does Joe need to kiss the ass of the Pubs???? I don't understand it! He needs to go!
