Roses for Boxer

Heard it on the Randi Rhodes show...a florist is sending three roses to Barbara Boxer for $10 for Valentine's day. Randi encourages everyone to do this for Barbara's recent courage stepping up to the plate for us. This may already have appeared on DU, but I think it bears repeating. Air America has details.

For just $10, we will send Barbara Boxer 3 Roses via Coast to Coast Florist. 1-888-501-7673. Orders need to be placed by Feb 12th. The roses will be sent to Barbara Boxers' office in the Hart building.





Of course, you could probably call any florist in the DC area and they will deliver them. Good luck to you.

and tinfoilinfor2005 too. I called the number and got through immediately. The woman I spoke to said that so far they've had 600 calls, which would translate to 1800 roses. An impressive sight, but I would love to see her get so many they would fill the rotunda. That would be quite a visual message.

4. Our votes don't seem to count anymore,

the media ignores our concerns...even the majority of our elected democratic leaders are too complacent to rock the waters. Maybe five million roses delivered to Senator Boxer's office would be one way we could show them that we are here and we matter.
