2008 Presidential Hopefuls Test Water

MANCHESTER, N.H. (Feb. 5) - In the course of three short months, the political system has come full circle: a presidential campaign, an inauguration, a State of the Union address and now this - another presidential race.

A dozen or ambitious Republicans and Democrats already are warming up for 2008.

While saying he has not decided whether to seek the presidency, Edwards sounded like a man who is putting a lot of thought into what makes voters tick.

Kerry may still want to be president, a prospect that could complicate Edwards' aspirations.

I did hear that his wife said in a statement he was running for something in 2008. I don't remember if she said what. I'd love it if he ran. That'd be funny if it was Gore/Clinton. LOL. But it could be possible. I remember there was one President who ran one time and won, ran another time and lost and ran again and won. So if we get rid of the voting machines by the primaries it's very well possibly. I'd even go for Gore/Clark, Gore/Kerry or Gore/Edwards. :) I'm not hoping but it is possible. I think the President I mentioned was Grover Cleveland?

10. Actually, he plagarized a small portion of a speech previously given

by a member of the British Labor party (it may have been Neil Kinnock). It wasn't so much plagerism as that he failed to give credit for the lines he used. Regardless, the press had just busted Gary Hart for sexual indiscretions with Donna Rice on a boat named "Monkey Business" and they were out for blood; the sharks were circling. In my opinion, Biden dropped out needlessly, but he made the choice and must live with it.
