Sorry If This Is A Repeat

By Paul Weyrich
excerpt From article

Blackwell also was a factor in Bush getting 17% of the Black vote in Ohio as opposed to 8% in 2000. In neighboring Michigan, with a marriage amendment on the ballot, Bush received only 10% of the African-American vote. Nationally the figure was 11%. The difference was that Ohio had Ken Blackwell, Michigan and the nation as a whole did not.

1. Blackwell made the difference, alright.
I don't doubt that he was the reason Bush got 17% of the Blacks who were ALLOWED to vote! Because he DIDN'T allow the rest to vote!

Mission statement

The mission of RenewAmerica is to expand the influence of America's grassroots--both among individual citizens and among principled groups--in the cause of preserving our nation upon its founding ideals. RenewAmerica, however, is not just cooperative, it is inclusive: we seek to bring together in a shared effort all Americans who believe in our country's founding vision.

To achieve our mission, we intend to fully utilize all available alternative media, as well as build a well-organized network (both electronic and conventional) of dedicated grassroots citizens in every part of our nation.

6. Nice mission statement
except it doesn't explain their mission or make any kind of statement whatsoever. Why is it that Republicans think they can fool people by repeating the words "grassroots" and "nation's Founders" over and over again?

What is that crap?

"You may very well have seen Ken Blackwell in action. As Secretary of State he handled the election procedures and results in the 2004 election."

Oh, I'd say we've all seen Kathy in action.
