III. Crushing the Coup: Purging "Bu$h theocratic NeoCON regime" ...
....from America and the world.

This third installment of the results of our dialogue on creating a simple set of rules of engagement with our fellow citizens as we begin a Nation-wide “literacy program” to inform everyone of the treacherous, treasonous actions of the Bush theocratic NeoCON regime begins with a reference to an important new film by Media Education Foundation.

Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear, and the Selling of American Empire.

"The film examines the Bush Administration’s investment in neo-conservatism, and the early, and already horrific, results. While past performance is no guarantee of future earnings, Hijacking Catastrophe shows exactly why America’s "new conservatism" is a pyramid scheme of inhumane proportions."

Hijacking Catastrophe describes the cost of empire in a way so comprehensive that it becomes clear that neo-conservatism, as a foreign policy guide, comes with a very real moral, political and financial garnishment of every American, and of American children yet unborn. The cost is shown not only as a current financial outlay or in lives unlived on the part of soldiers and marines, but in terms of an alarming debt burden, loss of domestic freedom, the growing and invasive state, a permanent tattering of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.”

The most sweeping change in the rules of engagement is the removal of the term ‘cabal.’ DUer ‘minorjive’ reminded us of the strong association of the term ‘cabal’ with antisemetic conspiracy theories about Jewish efforts to control banks and governments. So, I’ve substituted the term ‘regime’ for ‘cabal’ because anything that might smack of 'antisemitism' is unacceptable to our TBO;24/7 movement.

The messages that we are attempting to deliver are quite calculated and meant to motivate and focus efforts to eradicate the criminal Bu$h organization that is attempting the overthrow of the American Constitution and that has been subverting the spirit of our Declaration of Independence since the 2000 campaign.

The messages are necessarily not devoid of emotion, but the purpose served goes well beyond eliciting an "emotional response." For instance, in the era of ‘search engines’ we want as many hits as possible to associate “Mr. Bush” with Bu$h, NeoCON, theocrat, PNAC, fraud, exploitation, lies, extremist, etc.

The near-term goal is quick, surgical isolation of Mr. Bush and his theocratic, NeoCON regime from groups that must not be alienated, and, to whatever extent possible, need to be encouraged to become allies, e.g., Republicans, "conservatives," and Christians.

Thus, I urge that we avoid associating terms like 'Republican,' conservative, 'Christian,' neo-Christian, and any combination thereof with the name Bush (or any of his criminal minions and extremist, radical, unpatriotic collaborators).

I also urge caution in using terms like fascist, nazi, jihadist, and derogatory versions of Republican because they offer easy excuses for folk to stop listening and reading.

So, here’s the updated list:

1. Suggest you only use the term “Mr” or “Ms” for any member of the Bush organization. When convenient feel free to substitute an * or Bu$h for Bush.

2. Never use the term President or even a derogatory derivative thereof (e.g., preznit) when referring to Bush and avoid legitimizing phrases like Bush administration, Bush’ cabinet, etc;

3. Never use the term Vice President, SoS, etc when referring to co-criminals like Cheney, Rice, etc.;

4. Always refer to Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc as NeoCONS; or as members of Bu$h’s theocratic NeoCON regime. And, always refer to ‘Project for a New American Century’ as the PNAC conspiracy or PNAC propaganda machine;

5. Occassionally, refer to Bu$h, Cheney, Rice, etc as failed Republicans or unworthy Republicans or as theocratic NeoCON enemies of the real Republican party;

6. Always refer to the national election of 2004 (and 2000) as a coup; never refer to it as an election;

7. Bu$h has never been inaugurated; he has only been illegally installed;

8. Always refer to the illegal, Un-Constitutional war in Iraq as Bush’s illegal, Un-Constitutional war in Iraq;

9. Always refer to those resisting the illegal, Un-Constitutional occupation of their Nation, Iraq, as ‘freedom fighters’ not ‘insurgents’;

10. Always refer to our troops as loyal to America; ruthlessly and illegally abused by Bu$h’s theocratic NeoCON regime, subverted by the PNAC conspiracy;

11. Always refer to the media as Bu$h’s propaganda machine and only designate a media person as a journalist who oppose the Mr. Bush’s theocratic NeoCON regime (e.g., Olbermann, Krugman, Dowd, Kristof, Horsey, Palast, etc. receive recognition as a journalists; most, however, should always be called propagandists, Bush’s media whores, Bush’s lapdog media corps, etc);

12. theocrats and their evangelical propagandists should never be referred to as Christians; we need to stop insulting the memory of Jesus by ever associating his name with bush's theocratic, evangelical hypocrites. (never capitalize ‘t’ in ‘theocrats’; and a current, pertinent to election reform DU thread that everyone should read is:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x312144#312189 )

13. Always call the people who believe that the election discrepancies were coincidence -- "coincidence theorists."

14. Always call the people who believe that the fact that it was not an accident that all the voting discrepancies favored Bu$h -- "realists."

15. When referring to the events of 9/11 refer to them as having been allowed to happen by Mr. Bush’s NeoCON regime. Say that said events have been shamelessly exploited to achieve the geopolitical and business objectives of the Bu$h NeoCON regime.

16. Refer to states such as FL and OH, whose electoral process has been corrupted by bush loyalists, as failed states -- not unlike the former South Africa.

17. Refer to purveyors of paperless un-auditable voting machines and the boards of elections who purchase them as Bu$h anti-Constitution collaborators.

18. Whenever mentioning ‘the Draft’ always mention PNAC – try to have both PNAC and DRAFT appear in the same sentence, as much as possible.

19. Always refer to Bu$h and his cult followers as ‘anti-choice zealots.’ Deny them any use of the term ‘life’ excepting in the valid claim that they are ‘anti-life’ as evidenced by their slaughter of unknown numbers of non-combatant Iraqi citizens.

These modifications and the following additional suggestions were made by DUer “dmsRoar”:

"We must distinguish ourselves from the Bu$h theoCONs (thanks “mod mom”) by being adamant about never presuming to tell a woman what to do with her body.

"Why DO they always want to tell women what to do with their bodies?"

"Why DO they always want to try to tell YOU what you should believe?"

They're holier-than-thou self-righteous sexists, and that gets obscured by calling them "pro-birth."

In addition, you may want to adopt one or more of these phrases in introducing various topics to your fellow citizens:

Bu$h regime ______

Bush racism, as purveyed by sell-out collaborators _________ (e.g., Blackwell, Gonzales, Rice)

Bu$h’s extremist _______

Bush’s radical ______

Bu$h’s corporatist ______ (conveying Bush’s tightly coupled corporate control and political control without using the term ‘fascist’; if you use the term fascist it is important you explain the origin of the term and DavidGMills offers good advice in that regard in comment #20 in the DU thread listed above. Hootinholler, in comment #31, suggested corporatist and a neat variation, corporatista, as an opening to a discussion of what the original term ‘fascist’ was meant to convey.)

Call it the FOP instead of GOP (“F_____ Old Party” instead of “Grand Old Party”)

Bush’s theoCon _______

Bush’s torturegate _________

For those interested in setting various forms of what I’ll term ‘winger traps’ the insights of DUer “electropop” are worthy of your consideration. You can find them in the thread:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=203&topic_id=312332#312562

I very much want TbO;24/7 to emerge as an American patriots movement that truly transcends political parties and other organizational structures.

The only way that will happen is to establish a unique and inclusive programmatic structure that has not existed and that is open to both those organizations that realize the need to crush the coup as well as for all those citizens who have never aligned with any political party or activist organization.

America has been systematically attacked by the Bush theocratic neoCON regime; we must defend it and show the world that America is not the evil enemy of humanity -- only Bu$h and his theocratic neoconsters are the enemy and we will defeat them, legally and non-violently.

Thank you everyone for all you’ve contributed to our Bu$h lexicon and rules of engagement. And, I want to acknowledge all the helpful dialogue at http://www.velvetrevolution.us/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=119, as well. I'll provide an update at some time in the future, should it be necessary.

1. We must be on the same wavelength...
I just finished (almost) watching the excellent film you mention above.

Thank you for this helpful reframing. I will keep working with it in my own use.

Recently I wrote: "the brutality for oil, dominance and lucrative government contracts in Iraq, dignified with the title of 'war'..."

Kind of cumbersome, but it seems false to call this abomination a war.

And I like the term "torturegate". Adding gate instantly imbues anything with scandal. That's what the propagandists did here in California, when they started referring to slander against the SoS who stood up against Diebold, as "Shelleygate".

More torture stories.

More 9/11 lies.

Oh so many more dead in Iraq.

Since Skinner decided not to host Hijacking Catastrophe on the front page, I thought I would at least try to bring this post back to everyone's attention. Maybe a few more will watch it and send it every where they can.

It is well accompanied by:

5. Once again, understandinglife!
Kudos to you! Just for your consideration, what do you think about brief explanation of terms? I think its important to all be on the same page when we are asked about terminoligy. Simple to understand phrases, we can't expect the uninformed to get it without having to define some verbage. The importance of one clear voice is as critical as actually getting the word out. A well informed(?) friend didn't have a clue about the 52 memos sent to condi, as I tried to explain using your example of train wreck, I also made the analogy of a CEO being hired to take over a company and not being able to increase bottom line because the outgoing CEO hadn't provided a "plan". That person would quickly be shown the door. I'm concerned that we may end up muddying the waters with too many explanations of terms. I guess I'm sorta thinking bumper sticker mentality!:yourock:

17. Yes it is, but...
Not trying to defend the corporitistas, but we need to be careful not to over-reach too.

That memo was in January, the warnings were later. If in fact C's staff was a 'copy to' on the warnings to the FAA, the case is so much stronger. Otherwise C has plausible deniability in regards to the 52 warnings.

I can't imagine the source of the warnings not kicking them up the chain, so I guess I'm being the Devil's Advocate here.

18. Good point, and the effort being exerted to KEEP US FROM KNOWING...
...can be readily perceived by going to the following document:

http://www.archives.gov/research_room/research_topics/staff_report_3.pdf

And, for instance, go to pages 103 and 104 of that document, and look at what has been blackened to prevent us from reading.

As I study this document, it is clear that certain individuals do not want us, The Citizens of the United States of America, to know the truth.

What we do know is that during the time those FAA reports were being issued (between the Spring of 2001 and 9/11) certain senior federal employees, like Rumsfeld, stopped traveling on commercial aircraft.

If Rummy wasn't flying American you betcha Condi, $shrubber and darthC knew why.

We must get access to the contents of those FAA documents and put folk like Condi and Rummy under oath and start asking the real questions.

Peace.

And here's the bit about Rummy not flying commercial, posted by CBS News on 26 July 2001:

"In response to inquiries from CBS News over why Ashcroft was traveling exclusively by leased jet aircraft instead of commercial airlines, the Justice Department cited what it called a "threat assessment" by the FBI, and said Ashcroft has been advised to travel only by private jet for the remainder of his term.

"There was a threat assessment and there are guidelines. He is acting under the guidelines," an FBI spokesman said. Neither the FBI nor the Justice Department, however, would identify what the threat was, when it was detected or who made it."

Also, it is so very important for everyone to remember that when Condi met with the 9/11 Commission, she testified UNDER OATH.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/04/08/rice.transcript/

"WASHINGTON (CNN) -- National security adviser Condoleezza Rice testified Thursday under oath and in public before the independent National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States investigating the attacks of September 11, 2001." (transcript at the link).

6. Pro-birth
Edited on Sun Feb-13-05 02:59 PM by Bill Bored
No biggy, but the point of this was to distinguish them from being pro-life. Pro-life would imply a respect and reverence for life, including the life of the mother, and therefore being anti-death, anti-war, anti-poverty, anti-pollution, pro-healthcare, pro-education, pro-environment, etc.

Pro-birth implies only the desire to bring more life into the world, at any cost, regardless of our ability to support or sustain it. It's actually disrespect for life.

So when you say, 'They're holier-than-thou self-righteous sexists, and that gets obscured by calling them "pro-birth."', I think this misses the point a little. It doesn't address the abortion issue per se either.

My point was just to distinguish between pro-life and pro-birth.

The issue is more complex than choice alone, but I see the point.

This distinction was made by a Catholic nun who was interviewed on Bill Moyers' NOW I think, so it has some desirable religious overtones. I.e., how can they bring more life into the world without making provisions for care?
