This is where it is discussed pretty much for the first time, though I have been posting here and there in various threads on the urgent need to brainstorm and organize efficient methods to turn public opinion around. H20 Man, as you'll see, has some interesting experience with LTTE design and history.

So the new group would be for brainstorming and organizing efficient campaigns to impact public opinion selectively on the most important issues and also more generally to make the non-internet-using concerned public more receptive.

Keeping the depletion of hydrocarbon resources in mind helps explain a lot of this 'neo-con' foreign and domestic policy. It ain't about 'freedom being on the march' that's for sure.

We are in A CRITICAL PHASE right now -- we MUST REACH THE PUBLIC WITH THE TRUTH or it will be too late for many vital fights. So how do we do it most efficiently with the resources that we have? H20 Man is already talking about bringing in University people, a great suggestion to include in the brainstorming plans. We need lots more ideas and also instruction on how to best use traditional approaches like LTTEs.

A "routine" hijacking could not have been used as an excuse to launch an invasion of Afghanistan to make way for the gas pipeline the Taliban would not allow or the invasion of Iran the Neo-Cons wanted. A "routine" hijacking would not have been sufficient resaon for the House Republicans to attempt to give Enron a massive immediate retroactive rebate of taxes never paid (a rebate which the White House actively lobbied for until the Democratic controlled Senate said "No way, Jose!") that it desperately needed to avoid bankruptcy.

280. Yup, someone from FAA went to local air traffic controll for NY airspace,

demanded the tapes, ripped them up into small pieces, I believe also set some on fire, and distributed the pieces in waste baskets throughout the building. Kind of makes it hard after that to 'piece' them back together again, he humpty-dumped the evidence. Randi Rhodes talked about this incident months back, it was in the newspapers for one minute and then vanished down the memory hole.

The administration enabled and possibly planned the 9/11 attacks. The WTC buildings (including the mysterious WTC7) were destroyed not just by the impacts, but by planted explosives inside. The military planes which could have stopped the attacks were shunted aside so that the planes could hit the targets. And much more.

And it was all done for political power, so that they could pick an oil-rich country to invade: Iraq first, and then others to come. And also to terrify the people of this country so much that they would give up their fundamental constitutional rights and the Congress would give the President unconstitutional rights such as the ability to unilaterally declare war.

AND IT WORKED.

There is no bigger scandal than this in terms of what would bring down the criminal cartel that has stolen this country.

i really don't get it. they do this all the time. they get rid of all their temps out of nowhere to cut back on costs (not the whole company, just the guys who make the financial decisions).

so, they lay off all the temps thinking they are caught up, and going to save some money. a few months go by and a few departments are STUCK, backed up to all hell, so they have to call in a temp again.

i don't get it. if they have someone who ENJOYS working for them, why don't they just take all the small jobs that cause these depts. to get backed up and give them all to me as a full time position? that would save them even MORE money so they don't have to keep hiring and firing temps.

I think nature is just fine without the flouresent colors.
I didn't think the Gates thing was too attractive, either. New York has so many other places where you can see manmade gilt, why put something like this in a nature park?
But, then I live in the flush of nature - I have an acre of land in the city with a park on the other side of me. One of the reasons I like it here is because there isn't a bunch of manmade stuffies.

I also admit I don't know crap about Christo and don't know the point of the Gates thing. Of course, even if there is a point, I have to say that I thought it was just mucking up the nature.

It's temporary, not a permanent thing, like all of his projects. He wrapped the Reichstag building, that was a great piece. It took him 23 years to get permission - he started trying to get the project approved back when it was controlled by the Soviets.

You will have to figure out for yourself what the point of it is. Christo won't tell you. When he wrapped the Reichstag, he surrounded it with multilingual volunteers who answered questions basically by saying there was no significance to him wrapping that particular building at all, he just wanted to see what it would look like if it were wrapped.

To be truthful, I'd envisioned only yours truly delivering the Central Park Serenade due to the considerable amount of floaties needed to convey just me from Ohio to NY. I was a mere slip of a girl years ago when I moved in with my husband-to-be, but I've become quite a little lap-ful in the interim. (I was about to postulate something about living with a man making you fat -- but maybe we better not go there...).

How in the world the KOEB would be able generate enough floaty-hearts to float a WHOLE ORCHESTRA to NY, I confess I do not know.

Rather than a band, you know what would REALLY be good?-- BACKUP SINGERS!! Can'tcha just imagine close harmony charming KO right out of his Size 14s!!!
