3. Vanity Fair does some GREAT in-depth articles!

I got an offer for a year for $15.00 or something ridiculous like that. I really enjoy Graydon Carter's editorials since he intensely dislikes Bush, so I subscribed. It ends up being akin to a Playboy subscription in this respect: The Interviews are GREAT! There is nothing in there that's like the Playboy content, but there is a lot of fashion and gossip from NY that doesn't interest me, but when it comes down to investigative reporting, they do a helluva job. In their December issue, they did an intensive investigation on depleted uranium that I have been recommending to everybody.

4. It has stats

That are really interesting. I don't want to quote them out of context. I am hoping the writer will allow reprint rights. VF usually does but only if the writer also agrees. The stats are the most compelling I have seen yet or least written in a way that I actually understand. By the way, it is not written by someone who likes Kerry.
