2. Call it like it is! These aren't "glitches".
These are voting machine errors or malfunctions. "Glitch" sounds more like a burp or a hiccup. Don't let these guys off so easily!

Thanks for the info.

4. Brings back lots of funny memories.
Poll workers who didn't remember how to set up booths, mis-instructed voters on how to fill out affadavit ballots (now called "provisional ballots"), sent voters to the wrong polling station, who had them sign under the wrong name in the poll book, or fill out affadavit ballots when we all knew s/he was at the wrong polling place (but the voter was insistent that s/he was right). Almost saw a precinct shut down until they got a new pollworker (they were required to chuck one of the workers assigned for violating election law), but they decided to keep the loser because the reserve pollworker list was blank.

Pity the poll workers: they work long hours with few breaks, people are routinely nasty to them, they have to try to stay on top of a moderately messy set of rules and guidelines, and they do the best they can. And half are dem.

You want to blame the BOE, go ahead.
