1. Check Keith Olbermann's blog
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6210240/

He wasn't too impressed with the orange gates. His take: "They look like crap." Pretty funny blog entry.

4. That's a nice shot
I went today - spent about three hours walking through it. Sometimes they look beautiful and sometimes they look like road construction signs. When the sun is shining or the wind catches them or they are lined up in just the right way from the angle you are viewing them, they are beautiful. It's very very cool, and I am really hoping it will snow this week. That would look awesome. I did not realize this is their first project in 10 years. The whole town was out today to take a look. That's the great thing about NY. A huge art project draws a huge, fascinated crowd. Everyone here cares about art.

5. Does that color remind you of anything.
Like a certain Ukrainian party?

6. Oh I was just coming here to post how beautiful it looks to see
New York's finest part in a sea of ORANGE! The color may have been picked years before, but one can't deny how potent the symbolism is to those of use here. BRAVO!

8. nice for the "election reform" color, I suppose, but
