As most of you know Andy Stephenson is very sick and has serious symptoms with his liver. Tomorrow morning (Monday February 14) at 8:30 AM Pacific time he is going into the hospital in Seattle for more tests.

Andy is a fearless fighter for what is right, but he needs our love and strength as he faces these tests which are his latest challenge. Please everybody join us in asking the higher powers to hold Andy safe tomorrow and always!

Please, KEEP THIS KICKED and when you kick it send a positive thought, a prayer, or some good psychic energy to Andy. Please keep this energy going all through tonight and especially tomorrow morning.

Oh I know it sounds silly..if you got the ability and a camera

Take a picture of yourself..and save it for when you are better..
Why? Because when I was really sick,and I had a bizarre greenish yellow complexion color,and my eyes were pink ,When I looked in the mirror I saw I looked really strange. So for the hellofit I took my own picture. It sat in the little instant camera for a few months..when I got better,and when I got around to getting it developed,looking back I was amazed at how strange I looked even more than when I was sick.I looked sick yeah but dang,I looked like an alien or something.I got a kick out of it.

And The best part is I made it through and I could gawk at my own condition without feeling it anymore.It made me appreciate being well,but also reminded me to take care of myself more.And dang I looked awful and weird.

36. stress can take a toll

on those trying to save Democracy (and trying to convince others that it CAN be saved...) We are fighting a war on the home front and it is taxing. Never mind WHY we have been put in this unenviable position--it is simply a fact that we can no longer trust our "elected" leaders or our election system, and we are inclined to want to do something about it. But the opposing forces are formidable. Greed and lust for power know no bounds. This is nothing new, of course. The greedy and corrupt can convince themselves that they are fine upstanding citizens and that we all live in a fine representative Democracy, even as they are changing laws and installing their own by every crooked means imaginable.

All those here putting in so much time and energy like Andy need to pace our individual contributions. But I take heart from all this outpouring of support for him. Group support can be powerful. When strong fighters get weary or weakened in mind or body, it's important to shore them up. It doesn't matter how far away they are. It gives Andy strength and gives us all strength.

So another kick for Andy, and for the efforts here. Andy may need some time out, but we can keep going strong while he recovers. That would be uplifting to him.

39. Oh the humanity...or humility as the case may be...

Well, I just came from the hospital. They did an ultrasound and a CT scan. They made me drink a foul brew worthy of and old haggard witch. They poked and prodded me...injected me with dye and all stood grim faced staring at the monitors. I still have no results yet but I am glad the ordeal is over with. Now I am going to have a bite to eat.

Sometimes the testing can be worse than the treatment! Grab some chow and get some rest and try not to obsess on the technician's facial expressions and reactions. I once had an ultrasound tech that sent me to the ob/gyn with a very sad demeanor; the tech was convinced I was on the verge of miscarrying. My "miscarriage" is four years old now and quite a little hell-raiser. Sometimes ya just gotta have faith. You're in our prayers, Andy.

Thank goodness, cause it is true sometimes the tests alone are the worst part. That "witches brew" is BAD STUFF, been there done that! Ick!
