Hey. Shouldn't the daily Update Thread be recommended daily?

This is the easiest way to get the attention of other DUers who don't frequent this forum much, and to get 'em up-to-speed/interested in what's happening here. (We need all the help/publicity we can get.)

So how about checking the thread daily and giving it a boot to the Greatest page? I can only vote once, so it needs at least a second vote every day to get there. The last two days only have one vote.

The thread really does seem to be a community effort now, as it should be. Thank you all!

I haven't had as much time to work on the thread lately, but I do think it is very important. I also think it is important for it to be nomitated daily because I don't think as many people are visiting this forum, (I could be wrong.) and this is a great way to keep people posted.

I would guess it's a matter of habit. Before, we clicked in the same place to recommend for the front page. I rarely did that since so seldom it resulted in anything happening.

I think it will take a while for people to get used to this. Personally, I like the Greatest Page since I spend most of my time in this forum, and don't have time to check out the others.
