Palm Beach County fails BBV audit - twilight zone, basically
The documents are still pretty thin, but if all the precincts are like the first three it looks like it will be a strange rabbit hole there.

Palm Beach County Fails Audit

Documents obtained by Black Box Voting in a Nov. 2, 2004 Freedom of Information action do not substantiate the Palm Beach County election results. The Sequoia Voting System records show thousands of anomalies, all of the poll tapes lack signatures, and internal voting machine logs show an abundance of malfunctions.

Black Box Voting sued former Palm Beach Supervisor of Elections Theresa LePore to obtain the records, and obtained them from her successor, Arthur Anderson. You be the judge -- Audit records are going online HERE: http://www.bbvforums.org/forums/messages/2197/6620.html

<snip>

Palm Beach County has 4500 machines and we are going precinct by precinct, in chronological order.

<snip>

Precinct 1004:
- Both voting machines missing from the event log
- Second voting machine results report dated October 2004
- Neither poll tape is signed
- Machine # 21284 recalibrated twice on election day
- Machine # 21285 recalibrated twice during the middle of the night

Precinct 1006
- Zero tape, not signed
- Results tape missing
- Log indicates battery problem at beginning of election day
- Results report run at 7 p.m. but not provided
- Statistics provided by Palm Beach County Web site show that this precinct has no voters but it was assigned a voting machine (despite long lines at other polling places)

Precinct 1008
- Card "got stuck" over and over in both machines
- Multiple "bad encryptions" on machine #7302
- Poll tape for machine #7302 filed out of order or missing
- Poll tape for machine #7301 not signed

<snip>

More on the way. Next precinct has 11 voting machines with a frenzy of recalibrations. .. Four of the logs are, we're told, in "binary format" -- though that doesn't make much sense. We're having someone look at those. ..
One of the logs is so gigantic it chokes the system, so we'll have to divide it up to post it.

<snip>

Anomaly: Two voting machines assigned, neither appears on the event log. Second voting machine has results run in October 2004. Neither poll tape is signed. Machine # 21284 recalibrated twice during election day. Machine # 21285 recalibrated twice, during the middle of the night.

Precinct 1004: SONFEST CHAPEL OF JUPITER - 12265 INDIANTOWN RD

assigned voting machines:
21284 No record on Event Log of this machine
21285 No record on Event Log of this machine

Anomalies: Zero tape, not signed. Results tape missing. Log indicates battery problem, then machine powered up, shows no events, shows results report run at 7 p.m., but that report was not provided. Statistics provided by Palm Beach County Web site show that this precinct has no voters. (So why was it assigned a voting machine?)

One machine assigned: #6545
Location: PALM LAKES ESTATES SOUTH, 6970 42ND WAY NORTH, RIVIERA BEACH

Two machines assigned: #7301 and #7302*
(Poll tape for machine #7302 not found in first six of 7 boxes; we are still scanning last box, usually the poll tapes are in order. Internal log shows that machine #7302 does contain votes.)

3. Hmmm I really wish it was USCountVotes doing the audit....
Apparently they don't have access to those records, or are too busy with the exit polls or something else to do them.

All in all palm beach county has so many problems with fraud, and irregularities I would pretty much re-vote the entire thing. Plus which supervisor of elections had access to those memory cards? Not too long ago I'm guessing someone was actively reclaibrating but who.....

5. Jewish vote?
8800 Oldham Way, West Palm Beach, map shows street names that may reflect a Jewish community nearby.

6970 42nd Way, North Riviera Beach, possibly two synagogues 1 mile north. (Palm Beach Orthodox, Temple Emanu-el--conservative)
