DU techs: HELP!!! Can't get the DNC report on Ohio to download.

I have tried repeatedly to download the DNC election report with no success. I have a MacOS 10, and Preview software, and have never had such a problem before.

Preview downloads the cover page and first page of each section, but I can't access the bulk of the text. That is, the pdf opens, but it is not all there. I asked another DUer to email me the report. (It is huge--12 MB.) The same thing happened. I got the full report empty of content, accept for cover and first page, and when he sent it in separate sections, the same thing happened (also empty of context, except for cover and first page). The file "get info" says 11.6 MB for the "full report." And individual sections say things like 168 KB, but I can't access 90+% of the content. (Note: Preview tells me that the Executive Summary is 11 pages long, but shows only page 1, for instance. There is no access to page 2 and the rest of it.)

The report is posted as a "full report" pdf download (12 MB) and also in separate pdf sections, at

That's the only form that it is available in, and the only website that it is located at, that I know of.

I am not tech savvy at all. And it's very important that I and others be able to review this report ASAP. I've never had trouble downloading pdf's before, although I don't think I've ever tried to download one this large. (That shouldn't be a problem with my computer.)

**Can anyone tell me what is going on with this, and how to fix it?

Or, alternatively, does anyone know if this report is available in a different format, or at a different web site that might work better (be downloadable)?

Are others having this problem? If so, perhaps some dear soul will copy and paste the report (a big job) and post it somewhere on the internet.

1. Have you tried a newer version of Acrobat Reader?

The file may have been created with a version newer than the one you currently have installed.

You can get 7.0 for free at Adobe's site:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

I just downloaded it and opened it in 7.0 with no problems.

(I had opened it in Preview, which apparently couldn't handle this file--although it has been fine before. But I hadn't tried Acrobat; didn't even know I had it! Acrobat 6.0 opened it--then wanted an update, which is in progress, but is letting me read the report in the meantime.)
