None Dare Call it Stolen
Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 02:38 PM by whometense
Forgive me if this is a dupe, but our August issue of Harper's Magazine just arrived.

Big article by Mark Crispin Miller titled None Dare Call it Stolen: Ohio, the election, and America's servile press. I haven' t even read the whole thing yet, but wanted to give a heads up. It looks really good. And I don't know if it will be online or not.

1. Thanks
I think I'll pick up a copy. They have great stuff in Harper's sometimes, this sounds like a good one.

2. I get so tired of the right wing saying W won two elections!
He was "selected" not elected in 2000. His "election" in 2004 is highly suspect since it is shown daily that the majority of U.S. citizens disagree with his far right policies and his radical administration.

3. He wasn't even where he was
supposedly on election day for the innauguaration. Usually the numbers go up slightly with people who are just 'accepting' the election and willing to give a chance. Not this time and that seemed really suspect.

4. I could not agree more.
Especially the most recent crap I've been hearing coming out of mouths like Mehlman's: "*'s sweeping victory last fall entitles him to do whatever the hell he wants, so shut up" (I'm paraphrasing) As his poll numbers continue to tank.

I am more solidly convinced than ever that Kerry won.

5. I could not agree more
This might all have been resolved if Kerry wouldn't have quit ,as is how can you say Kerry won.
