If you're new to bit torrent, I suggest the Azureus client (Windows, Mac, Linux), or for Windows only, Shareaza.

What is Bit Torrent?

When you open the .torrent file in your bit torrent client of choice (mine is Azureus), and it downloads, as it is downloading, you are AUTOMATICALLY uploading to everybody else that is downloading the file, so, the more people that participate, the faster the downloads become. It's an excellent way to share bandwidth and download very large files (disc images) at the maximum bandwidth possible.

After you've finished downloading, leave your bit torrent window open, so others can DL from you!

On Macintosh, you can use Roxio's Toast or Apple's Disk Utility to burn copies.

On Windows, you will need a program to extract the files, like WinISO, or a CD recorder, like Nero, to burn it on a CD.

Burn copies! Distribute!

4. No seeders

I'm trying to download the CD right now, but can't connect to any seeders. In order to get more downloads you should upload your torrent to other torrent sites. I run a torrent site, http://liberaltorrents.allhyper.com/ . http://www.chomskytorrents.org/ is another good one.

The first torrent was the one I tried, it used tracker.prq.to, that was the one with no seeders. The second torrent uses tracker.zerotracker.com, thats the one with seeders. You should delete the tracker.prq.to torrent from the page at http://electiontheft.net/electiontruthCD/ .

18. Yikes! There's a new torrent posted.

You're probably downloading from the old torrent. There's a NEW torrent for the NEW version of the CD-ROM (1.2). If you have the new torrent it's probably because my bandwidth is being shared with everybody trying to download.... as soon as a few people finish their DL, this will be resolved.
