1. I wrote my Democratic Congressman
and my republican senators, demanding that they support impeachment now.

2. I called CA Rep. Mike Thompson's Office Today
This was before I even saw this thread. My main points were:

1. Why hasn't Mike Thompson called for the impeachment of the entire * administration and what is he doing about hurricane relief? (said together in my first breath in a tone-setting greeting ;-) )

2. If the administration is this incapable of responding to a natural disaster that gave us several days warning, how can anybody in the country expect they'll do better with a surprise terrorist attack?

3. Congressman Thompson, and indeed all the Democrats who allow bogus elections and the overall dangerous (mis)leadership of this country, are complicit in perpetuating the myth of democracy.

4. If Congressman Thompson is resigned to being ineffectual because he accepts that the power of his office is so curtailed by the dominance of this administration (not her words, but the gist of an excuse actually provided by the staffer on the phone), then he must resign that office and make way for someone determined to be effective and bring change.

5. What is the Congressman doing to marshall local efforts to contribute to the hurricane relief?
