How the GOP Stole America's 2004 Election and Is Rigging 2008
Fitrakis and Wasserman | How the GOP Stole America's 2004 Election and Is Rigging 2008

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/092005G.shtml

According to Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman the stolen elections of 2000, 2002 and 2004 are nowhere to be found in the milquetoast
Carter-Baker Report now passing for wisdom on America's broken electoral system. And unless the public is ready to face the reality that we no longer live in a nation with credible elections, the 2008 balloting is all but over.

8. Why Are the Dems so Spineless?
The only theory I've been able to come up with (and I don't want to
believe it) is:

1. The world is running out of oil and this means economic and
cultural and social chaos is coming

2. PNAC has known about this for a long time and says invading Iraq
and Central Asia is the solution

3. The powers that be are afraid to inform the American people for
fear it will cause panic and existentialism

4. The powers that be behind the Dems agree that the oil must be
seized but the Dems (and the Repubs) are not ruthless enough to do it

5. The rogue Repub cabal of the Bushites has been left to do the job

You are free to connect the dots to 9/11 and New Orleans for yourself

2. This one's a kicker...they do speak the truth.
The Democratic rank and file (me, you, most here) is ready to rumble, the "back benchers" and some senior House and Senators are ready, e.g. Conyers, Byrd, etc. But, save Nancy Pelosi's truthful statement about Bush being "dangerous", they're not rising to the occasion. It's all too clubby for me and for the good of the country.

The British politicians are aggressive, derisive, and down right brutal to each other in public debate. Their way of life is not threatened, in fact, there is alively open debate.

Why not here? Oh, are we too delicate a nation? I think not!

Let's hear people tell the truth:

"I don't give 'em Hell; I just tell the truth and they think it's Hell."
(close approx.) Harry S. Truman, Pres. D, MO

4. I personally love
to watch the British Common Times. Those are great and I'm always so jealous. *sigh* I wish that could happen here. I also love seeing Tony Blair grilled. Bush wouldn't be able to last that.

5. Well entrenched, illegitimate,...
Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 12:28 AM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...fascist regimes, have and will never be displaced by an opposition party working within the system. They're displaced internally via revolution or not at all. Sorry, but that's the reality of the situation, folks. Absent the required revolution (our most likely scenario), what we'll see in coming years is the theatrical illusion of free and fair elections maintained for a few more election cycles. Then at some point, after domestic dissent has been thoroughly crushed and the remaining populace is sufficiently numb and docile, elections will be done away with altogether, considered an expensive, unnecessary charade by the new fascist State. Welcome to AmeriKa.

It is said that history repeats itself. That's because it does:

7. I saw Harvey last night.
he came and spoke here in burlington. I gave an introductory talk for about 15 minutes. Harvey's speech was great. I should have a recording of it available on the solarbus website soon.
