Project Censored on Theft 2004--Worth Reading, Cites DU

No Paper Trail Left Behind:
The Theft of the 2004 Presidential Election*

By Dennis Loo, Ph.D.
Cal Poly Pomona
ddloo@csupomona.edu

"Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things." "I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." (Through the Looking Glass)

In order to believe that George Bush won the November 2, 2004 presidential election, you must also believe all of the following extremely improbable or outright impossible things.(1)

(Footnote for that one reads:
(1) Several of the items in this list feature Ohio and Florida because going into the election it was universally understood that the outcome hinged on these swing states.

'TruthIsAll' on the DemocraticUnderground.com offered a list that is similar in format to my highly improbables and utterly impossibles list of the 2004 election results and I have drawn directly from their list for items #6 and 7. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all &address=203x22581), retrieved June 4, 2005.

See especially the sections called
"The Oh-So Loyal Opposition: the Democratic Party"
and
"The Role of Mass Movements and Alternative Media"

Note: Sorry if this is a dupe. I see no date on the article, and it just came to my attention today.

1. It is a dupe, but it's good to see it again. Here's the earlier DU thread
from Sept 11, which must be about the time it came out:

I'm glad you posted this new thread, because more people need to read this article.

3. To be specific it cites TruthIsAll - a DU poster -
who is missed. TIA's work is now appearing at
<http://www.progressiveindependent.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=120> and at <http://truthisall.net/>.

TIA :yourock:

4. Cool! I love Project Censored...
I've been reading their yearly books for quite a long time now. They've kept me much better informed than the SCLM!

5. I would add...
In order to believe Bush won, you have to believe...

...that Bush's "pod people" in Congress voted $4 billion to "reform" our election system, permitted "trade secret," proprietary programming code in electronic voting machines owned and controlled by Bushite companies (mostly Diebold and ES&S), failed to require even a paper trail for auditing and recounts (blocked that requirement in Congress), and failed to forbid lavish lobbying of state/local election officials and others by the Bushite companies who took over our election system in the 2001-2004 period, and that...

...Bushites--after setting all this up--decided not to use these extremely hackable electronic voting machines (one hacker, a couple of minutes, leaving no trace) to steal the 2004 election.

-------

Is our Democratic Party leadership INSANE? (--or just lavishly lobbied?)

6. our democratic party is in on the game and doesn't have the
lousy SELF-CONFIDENCE to believe it could win without the rigging either.

Essentially, they don't understand that the clear, clear majority of Americans are still believe in democracy and can clearly recognize dictatorship when they see it.

Really sad.
