Sorry to break this news...

I know many of you were counting on remodeling your second homes with your Diebold earnings...

You can rent the JetStream I've got behind the house...even got heat in the winter...bring a friend.

Wow, they really suck. Wait until the "whistle blower" goes public big time. That will just screw them, totally.

Btw, I used their ATM's in the early 80's and I never had a problem, ever, and they never made a transaction error, and they always gave me an accurate paper receipt...do you think they changed programmers or something? Gotta wonder...

3. programmers.

All programming requires is a bit of reading up on methods and practices, and a whole lot of core smarts. As in, the ability to think and stay organized, not the ability to memorize and recite.

But there's no real money in it anymore, unless you get really lucky and find an employer that doesn't encourage their managers and HR people to wear a posterior hat.

Ergo, those with the ability to think, think they are going to go elsewhere to earn cash. Ergo, those left behind aren't great programmers. But the management doesn't know that, because, well we already talked about the rectal headgear.

So that's what you get. The state of software these days is a travesty. You need better hardware just to run today's software not because it does more, but because it is so horribly conceived and written.
