1. we'll see
if this story really gets legs nationally. I feel as though the msm will kill it again. They have kept it from being brought to the fore front twice now. This issue is what no longer qualifies us as a Democracy.I have a plan to remedy the matter, it involves crime also.

2. I See No Justification for NOT Running the Story
about the DHS warning in 8/04 of the Diebold tabulator backdoor. How
much more official can you get? There's nothing to confirm, no ethical
problems about anonymous sources. Just report the fact that DHS ran the
warning. It's a fact, just like the fact that Cheney made some inane
statements about Iraq (which statement may or may not be true) is a
fact. IMHO the MSMs refusal to cover this proves that Peter Coyote's
media lockdown on the election story is true.

3. The only problem is the MSM
Who won't report on anything they are not aloud to report on! They too are responsible for the stolen election! They too have blood on their hands!

4. TY for posting .........nominated
Let's all send thanks.

Oh and my thoughts regarding the media ---

For some reason they woke up this summer. For some reason I feel they will carry the story. For some reason they are carrying other stories central to our plight. Maybe they woke up and smelled the coffee?

Would be a great time for a media blitz (IMHO).

8. Actually, this is a story about the BUSINESS side of Diebold, and the
Dieb-throat part is mentioned in passing near the very end of a long article - I actually suspect few people will make it that far. The story is primarily about management and why the stock is low, and how the hurricanes will hurt business by delaying shipment of machines. Here's the brief mention of Dieb-Throat, which is also in this context, i.e., raised briefly as another threat to the business side of this company, NOT as a danger to democracy:

(snip)

Speculation hits Web

The news about troubles at Diebold also hit online opinion sites where voting-rights groups long have criticized what they say are security problems in Diebold's voting equipment.

U.S. Newswire carried a release saying that a whistle-blower, "Dieb-Throat," was spilling the beans on practices at the company.

The insider, when contacted by a reporter, described a company groping to get its voting-equipment business stabilized after a series of equipment malfunctions and sales setbacks.

"We have no response to that kind of nonsense," Jacobsen said.

(snip)

So actually, I was rather disappointed in this story. Nothing about how the Diebold technology opened the way to election fraud, just a long discussion of the health of the company business-wise.
