4.  My bad??????? Please tell me where this phrase comes from.
I ask because my 11 year-old nephew was recently visiting and he said that several times. I thought it was something that he had made up, but I see that isn't right now after seeing it several times on DU. Is this from some television show that I "should" be familiar with?

Thanks for your answer. Have a good day. Not a "my bad" day. :-)

5. It's really old.
I mean really, really, old. I first heard it in a sports context as a kid.

7. But I'm really, really, really , really old and I've never heard it, but
then that doesn't mean anything other than I'm just not with it, right?

8. I think it is really old, but I don't actually know where it comes from.
I'm inclined to agree that it might have started in a sports context.
