Is there a preferred way to do searches? How do you want to divy up the work?

For example, Wilms and livvy, I'll be helping you. What would be helpful or preferable? Should I check in with you early in the a.m. or is there a way to divide up the searching for that day so we're both not searching the same terms or papers?

1. Here's somethings I do. Looking forward to see what other veterans do.

I have a pile of bookmarks, most of which I click through regularly. They're posted on the following thread which I should (ok, will) update.

Something bugging me though. There are a host of state groups that post announcements (that we'd dig seeing) nearly all of whom don't seem to come by and post. So a list of those folks, and someone volunteering to go through them once a week or so, might be good.

(Wondering why those groups don't seem to come by and post here might make an interesting discussion thread. But I digress.)

3. Okay. What I hear is that on Thursday, we search co names

and the state forums, for starters.

A list of search terms would be great.

2. Ideas....

1. We could divide up the states using a list like this one:

You could take certain regions, and I'd do the others.

2. We could do it by time of day. I'm up at the crack of dawn most Saturdays (thank you, oh thoughtful bevy of bouviers who promptly nod back off as soon as they are fed, watered, and pottied). You could do later in the AM or early PM.

3. You could keep an eye out for discussions that start in the other forums, and add them to the list of articles.

4. One of us could check out the blogs for news, and the other could stick to the papers online.

Any of these ideas sound inviting, or do you have something you'd like to do?
I'm pretty open. It'll just be fun to have someone to be a co-poster (is that a real word, or have I been spending too much time fuming about the nitwit, and caught his language butchering disease?)

5. Yeah, I usually get it going pretty early.

Last week I think I started around 8:30 and my last post was around 12:30. I'm a slow poster, I guess. I really enjoy all the articles, and then I get sidetracked with all the smiley guys, too.
I use some of the same search terms Wilms mentioned, and also ones like election reform, elections, voting systems, and voting. Last week I used the term "glitches" which I think was suggested by stillcool47.
