Pls post comments on Electronic Voting Machines at Col Dispatch site:
Columbus Dispatch has a forum where you can respond to a "hot topic". Please help educate Central Ohioans on the REAL issue concerning electronic voting machines (they think it's a lack of curtains!). Please post comments at:

The Hot Issue: Are you concerned about a lack of privacy now that you will vote on electronic machines that have no curtains?

11. Maybe deliberately clueless? A red herring? Are we being "Roved"?
Clutter the media with pointless discussion about curtains, while more important issues get pushed into the background noise -- yeah, that's the ticket.

I am concerned about the integrity of the election system. When you have partisan voting machine corporations with ties to the Republican Party (Diebold and ES S) who use proprietary claims against open source code and limited audits of the vote, there can be NO confidence in the results. When you add in a partisan SOS who used challenges, caging, last minute directives, unfair machine allocation, voter purges and changes in precincts to suppress the democratic votes their can be no confidence in the vote. Up until ~1980 most of the country used Paper ballots just like most of Europe and Canada. Hand counted Paper ballots w strict procedures would ease the concern.

4. best one...
I am more concerned about the accuracy of the software. If it is anything like the simulator on the ohiovotereducation.com website, then the system is highly suspect. I ran my own test on 2 separate occassions. For favorite vocal artist, I selected Stevie Ray Vaughn and Barry White. The first error I noted was that the paper trail recorded Stevie Wonder. When I go to the screen that allows the voter to review their selections, the selections for best vocal artist shown Frank Sinatra and Buddy Holly (neither of which were selected). It's probably a good thing that Blackwell dumped his stock since this software looks like either junk or outright fraud.

6. Except ...
...Blackwell didn't dump ES&S stock (the company that makes iVotronic, the machine used in the demo at ohiovotereducation.com)
