What's everyone doing to prepare for the 2006 midterms?
Hey guys,

I wanted to know what everyone has been doing lately to make sure that the upcoming elections are run with integrity. Do you have major plans to boycott all e-voting machines? If so, I'd like to see what some of your plans are. Are any of you confident that we've done enough to make sure everything will be okay in November? I'm very interested.

Take care,

IL

1. Here In Sarasota County We Mounted A Campaign For Paper
ballots, but it seems there were a few words in the petition that the County Commissioners deemed "illegal" so they nixed the referendum that was to be put on the November election so people could vote for the paper trail! It is now in litigation!

If we don't vote on the machines we have... we don't vote at all! Granted, I'm not sure that my vote WILL be counted, but I wonder if NOT VOTING is the better answer! I will say though I have thought about it long and hard! I don't know what to do! I did just vote in the Primary!

Since my District is also Cruella's District, not voting might be detrimental to me. I can't wait to rid myself of her even though I'm not too crazy about Bill Nelson either. But I've had to live in this "trifecta" of politics for 6 long years and the thought of at least ridding myself of Jebby & Cruella can't be over stated!

I'm currently working with our local Democratic Club, volunteering for whatever they want me to do.

It is said that Cruella's seat may "go" Democratic... Jennings against Buchanan, but I won't believe ANYTHING until I see it! We have a lot of RINO's, but it still Repuke Country!
