MARYLAND BOARD OF ELECTIONS WEBSITE SCRUBBED!
Primary Election Results All Zeroed Out!

Results from last Tuesday's Primary Election in Maryland (which was in and of itself a debacle), have apparently been scrubbed from the Maryland Board of Elections website! As of right now, 6:36pm ET, no election totals are currently available on the site after they've previously been there all week as counting has continued.

I'm currently on the air and thus not able to look into it further, so I've not been able to get any explanation for this. But I thought you should know. A screenshot from one of the pages (they are all currently zeroed out!) is below…

She was appointed by the previous Democratic governor. Ehrlich is FOR VVPB and against the Diebold machines that Lamone chose. Sorry, but the politics are reversed in this case. It's one of the extreme ironies of politics in Maryland.

13. Ehrlich is making this an election ploy

All Maryland Delegates - Democrat and Republican unanimously voted for voter verified paper ballot. Ehrlich just jumped on the bandwagon because the the Assembly also approved early voting. That is when they started screaming voter fraud. All the Republicans want to do is disenfranchise minorities and poor people. The purported support for VVPB is one way they can pretend to care. Most Democrats support VVPB. Don't paint Bobby Ehrlich with the broad brush of giving a shit about anybody or anything but his re-election. He is blasting Lamone to embarrass the Democrats, if the Democrats are ignoring him, that is the reason.

As for Lamone, I hope she goes. I want her to go with a Democrat in the Governors Mansion. For now we are stuck with the Diebold paperless ballots, flawed and hackable software.

11. I've got news for you dude

The debacle in Maryland is completely a Democratic issue.

We have been warning the Democrats in Maryland for three years now that the Diebold equipment was completely unreliable. Despite every warnings and multiple third-party reports, the Democrats in Maryland have insisted on using touchscreen machines from Diebold.

This is a completely self-inflicted wound.

To be fair:

+ Republican Gov. Ehrlich tried to call for paper ballots.
+ The Democratic MD House passed a measure in support of that 137 to 0.
+ The Democratic MD Senate let the bill die without going to a vote before the end of the session.

Plenty of blame to go around. And yes, Linda Lamone is a Democrat, and has been one of Diebold's biggest supporters in MD, and has been covering and lying for them for years. Her ass is definitely to blame here. Right along with all of Ehrlich's Republican county election director appointees!

I'm afraid that most of our elected officials are from the Ted Stevens mold (of "the internet is a series of tubes" fame) - they have no idea how computers really operate, and how vulnerable they can be. A bill was passed unanimously in the state house to require paper and it was killed in the state senate. House and senate are both Dem. I haven't been able to make any sense out of the whole situation and am furious with Linda Lemon.

Not that I'm a fan of Ehrlich, but he did the right thing coming out against them.

12. the vote count isn't over, Montgomery County won't be done

until next week, excuse me, these machines cost the State of Maryland 43 million, isn't
this supposed to make the election faster, we would have counted paper ballots by now.
