Counsel withdraw from Ohio lawsuit and are replaced by Arnebeck & Fitrakis
Edited on Wed Sep-20-06 03:25 PM by eomer
There seems to have been an interesting change in counsel for the Ohio lawsuit KLBNA v. Blackwell.

Undersigned counsel (John S. Marshall, Edward R. Forman, Steven D. Dransfeld, Marshall and Morrow LLC, Louis A. Jacobs, William Goodman and the Center for Constitutional Rights) hereby give notice of their withdrawal as counsel in this matter.

Cliff O. Arnbeck[sic], Jr. will be designated as "Trial Counsel for Plaintiffs" for the remainder of this action. Further, plaintiffs will also be represented by Robert J. Fitrakis...

This is the same lawsuit for which Richard Hayes Phillips made a declaration on 9/1/06 and that generated the order by Judge Marbley on 9/11/06 to preserve all Ohio ballots.

3. This may be more hallucination than elucidation...
but it seems to me that Arnebeck and Fitrakis would step in only if they saw this going somewhere big. I've got no inside information so take this just as wild speculation. Who knows -- maybe there is some totally mundane explanation.
