Brad Versus People For the American Way: VERY IMPORTANT!

This has been noted before but people (myself included) need to be constantly reminded about the need to get the DREs out of the picture entirely.

Brad Friedman is making some very important arguments about DREs that need to be heard and understood.

Brad feels that a lot of worthwhile organizations are being misled about the Rush Holt bill and about the use of DREs.

Here's Brad's article in AlterNet. It needs to be read carefully. He describes an interview he did for Ring of Fire and a later interview that Ralph Neas (from PFAW) did for the same program and some of the misrepresentations that arose in those interviews and continue to befog the issue.
