Please forgive the totally off-topic intrusion -- but is there anyone here in touch with Kurovski?

There are a number of us who have never posted in this particular forum who are worrying about Kurovski and wondering if ANYONE has been in touch with him over the past two months.

We know he hung out here regularly, and we've all exchanged PMs with him in the past, but none of us has heard anything from him since early May, and we're concerned.

So, please, if you've heard ANYTHING from Kurovski (I know he posted a comment here on May 21) in the past two months, would you please either PM me or post a reply on this thread?

It would be much appreciated. There are a lot of us who are wondering if he's okay.

4. I checked my email box and when Mr K and I chatted on April 20th

he said he had a big project he was working on and was avoiding his DU addiction because of it.
I have not heard from him since then but that email was in response to a PM I sent him.

15. Amaizing you should ask....

I logged on to DU this morning with the intent of sending you and Beth a note...

I found her!!! I was heading to the living room yesterday evening, looked down, and there she was, just sitting on the kitchen floor in plain view (safely on the other side of the doggy gate...she's such a smart girl). At first I thought it was my "new" guy, Cobb, but as soon as I scooped her up, I realized it was Maizie. She was quite plump and appears healthy as can be.

I put her in the aquarium with Cobb, and the two of them are quite happy together. Cobb was like...oh good, she's going to feed me...no wait...could it be...yes!! She gave me a lady... :woohoo: !

It was love at first slither!

I knew she was still alive. I never gave up hope. I think she was up in the attic space, got too hot, and found the opening I left her in the pantry (the attic access portal). That would explain her lounging on the cool kitchen floor. Who knows...I just couldn't be more pleased!

I'm so glad you are safe and sound, and wishing you the best on your clan's "challenges". I look forward to hearing more from you soon. You have been missed!

have wanted to call out the National Guard and they are severely stretched have been heavily (and unreasonably) deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention being needed for Hurricane Dolly in South Texas...We missed you madly, though...:grouphug:
