Richard Hayes Phillips to speak on election fraud 9/19 in Seattle
PUBLIC FORUM AND BOOK SIGNING
ELECTION FRAUD IN OHIO 2004

Richard Hayes Phillips will present findings from his new book "Witness to a Crime:

A Citizens' Audit of an American Election." The book comes with a CD containing 1200 photographs of actual forensic evidence: ballots, poll books, voter signature books, and other election records from Ohio

"Richard Hayes Phillips worked day and night for three years compiling irrefutable evidence of how the Republicans stole the 2004 presidential race in Ohio. This landmark investigation is a testament to what private citizens can accomplish when government officials fail to protect our right to vote and to count those votes as cast. Every American – Republican and Democrat – should read this

1. I saw him here a few weeks ago. I'd be...
...interested to know your thoughts. I bought the book...it documents a lot of what many here already know.

3. He says he's trying to get libraries to take copies...
...and get the word out that way. I bought a copy to donate.

My guess would be bookstores aren't interested...sadly. It seems a lonely battle.

I respect him a lot for his efforts.

8. here's why
He had a contract with Kent State University Press to publish the book. Then a newspaper in his hometown announced the book was being published, and immediately Kent State University Press -- which had been enthusiastic about the book -- said they weren't going to publish it. So he decided to self-publish. Bookstores order their books through distributors. While they may offer to special order an individual book that's self-published if you request it, they really are forced by the way the publishing industry works to order from distribution houses so that they can do one order for hundreds or thousands of different titles, rather than having to go through a separate process for each book they want to order.

If someone wants to help this book get out there and could research how to get one of the big distributors to carry it, that would be a great service.

5. He is also on record record as an advocate of paper ballots, counted by hand,
"I am on record as an advocate of paper ballots, counted by hand, at the polling place, in full public view, on Election Night, no matter how long it takes. I arrived at this position as a direct result of an audit of the 2004 presidential election in Ohio, undertaken at an unprecedented scale, under my direction. Rady Ananda, an election integrity advocate and a veteran of the Ohio investigation, is quite correct in stating that "our call for hand-counted paper ballots is directly related to our distrust of computerized voting systems."

This could make hand counting paper ballots at the polling place, Very Possible all while putting Diebold and all the other electronic/mechanical ballot counting bandits out of business...
