Update: Ohio voter fraud rare
Safeguards prevent 'Mickey Mouse' ballots

Democrats demanded answers Monday in the wake of what they called an unprecedented partisan fishing expedition launched against voters by Republican officials in Greene County, east of Dayton.

Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer and Prosecutor Stephen Haller, a former law partner of McCain state campaign chairman Mike DeWine, Thursday requested registration records for all 302 people who registered and voted on the same day in the county, including driver's license numbers and Social Security numbers.

Greene County is home to five colleges and universities, including two historically black colleges.

Democrats were outraged, calling the tactic voter intimidation.

Fischer withdrew the request Friday, citing a federal court decision requiring Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner to match registration records with data from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Social Security Administration and provide any mismatches to counties.

and indeed republican. I just watched the movie; Stealing America: vote by vote. Warren County was where they had the fake bomb scare and falsely claimed the need to contact Homeland Security. It was completely a falsehood put out by the GOp Board of Elections there....also, they locked the doors and refused anyone to inspect the machines.
