2. This is funny
The Brooklyn investigation did indeed uncover that thousands of fraudulent votes had been cast.

But 2.5 million people live in Brooklyn and about 700,000 voted in 2004, probably 500,000 in off-year elections. From 1968 to 1982 there were elections in probably 10 of those 15 years. Using 500,000 voters as a rough guide means 5 million votes were cast. Out of that maybe 10,000 were fraudulent, a pretty low percentage.

More voters were disenfranchised in FLA in 2000 than fraudulently voted in the 14 years of elections in Brooklyn.

The argument is fraudulent.

7. Here's a stat from OH 4 cases in 9 MILLION VOTES:
A 2005 report by the League of Women Voters of Ohio and the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio, for example, found that of more than 9 million votes cast in the state's 2002 and 2004 general elections, there were four instances of ineligible people attempting to vote. The data were collected from interviews with all 88 county Boards of Election.

3. He is a Neo-Con with long Rove-bot history,
Most recently, he was appointed by Bush to fill an open FEC slot, where he promptly drove out the then current (Dem) chairman, turned the FEC into a RE-thug blueprint.
When it came time for the Senate to ratify his appointment, the Repugs refused to let him and 2 other appointees be voted on individually, tried to have it an up or down vote because they knew Von Spastic had pissed off so many people he could not get ratified by himself.
To their credit, the Dems in the Senate refused to be blackmailed that way, von Spakovsky finally had to drop out of the running.
I don't know where he slithered off to.
I swear there is a long German link to some of these Neo.cons. People like Erik Prince (Blackwater) and von Spakovsky, etc.

4. Maker of specious arguments.
In this article he cites Miami mayoral race of 1997 that was overturned when voter fraud was uncovered. Fails to mention it was REPUBLICAN absentee ballot fraud.

The article says "Hans A. von Spakovsky is a visiting legal scholar at The Heritage Foundation...". :puke:

Have a look at wiki too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_A._von_Spakovsky :puke: :puke:

8. Read Jeffrey Toobin's article in the New Yorker
"Poll Positions" -- it's on line.

This will tell you about Mr. Von Spakovsky and his Federalist Society pals.
