As the morning of US Election Day of 2008 has just kicked off, problems with voting machines have surfaced.
Many months before, there have been talks about the uses of voting machines and the flaws they possess.
The first area is at Pennypacker Park Elementary School in Burlington County, New Jersey. So far, it has been reported that the voting machines are broken.
The second area would be in Fairfax, Virginia. However, the problems that Fairfax is dealing with are not with the machines themselves. The problems are with the handful of memory cards that were not working.
The problems only affected a small number of the machines. For those that live in the Fairfax area, there are still paper ballots.
Another incident has also been reported in Richmond, Virginia, where the voting machines at the Math and Science Center have shut down. They are using paper ballots. However, there have been calls to the CNN Hotline saying that there were no paper ballots.
