Election Defense Alliance is evaluating Web applications for online tutorials, meetings, and online collaboration, and we'd like to give you a preview.
Thursday, August 6 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Pacific time) we'll be having an online presentation of the streaming web video authoring tool Adobe Presenter, and the online meeting and collaboration application, Adobe Connect.
We will be evaluating several possible applications, and we'd like to hear what you think. The live demonstrations can accommodate up to 100 viewers, so we're inviting EDA supporters to join in.
Here's how to tune in:

Audio Conference # 800-414-9963 Passcode: 346738#
EDA is considering Adobe Presenter as our main authoring tool to present a series of online instructional videos for an "election integrity curriculum" to reach the general public.
During the presentation we will also learn about the related Adobe Connect collaborative program, with audio conferencing option, that enables online meetings featuring desktop sharing, file sharing, polling, chat, inline video, and whiteboarding.
EDA is considering Connect for internal use of EDA Working Groups, as well as for enabling online public meetings with hundreds of attendees.
The Adobe products come with training support, which will also be described in this presentation.
The presentation will begin with Presenter, then Connect, then Training. All service options and pricing levels will be explained.
We have budgeted up to 90 minutes for the entire demonstration, so there will be plenty of time to cover all the material and answer questions.
Drop in, watch the demonstration, and let us know if these are applications you would be interested in using to participate in EDA campaigns.
Feel free to pass this invitation along, too.
