Election Integrity Alert: Vermont's Dem SoS who is in bed with Diebold is running for Governor

Vermont's Democratic Secretary of State, Deb Markowitz, is running for Governor.

Deb has gained notoriety among election integrity activists over the last few years, as she has lied to the public about Vermont's lack of compliance with the Brennan Institution's recommendations for secure elections (see http://www.solarbus.org/vtvoters/articles/060830.debmarkowitz.shtml). While other Secretaries of State such as Pedro Cortes of Pennsylvania have banned the use of Diebold optical scan voting machines based on conclusive evidence that they can be easily hacked without a trace of evidence, Ms. Markowitz has denied there is a problem and continued to allow Vermonters to vote on the flawed machines.

Vermonters for Voting Integrity (http://vtvoters.org) has vowed to make sure the public is aware of her lack of leadership and willingness to mislead the public on this important issue.

...to hand-count the ballots and make sure there is a match to the machine count.

2) conducted some audits to appease us however they were a joke
