Supreme Court Reversal on Corporate Contributions...Dead Man Walkin

I am afraid that Democracy is a thing of the past with the recent Supreme Court reversal. Unless there is some kind of miracle and Obama is able to re-seed the Supreme Court in the next 2 years and get THIS horrific ruling reversed, we have seen the last Democrat in the White House for at least the next 50 years. The 750 Million dollars raised primarily from private citizens that got Obama elected can be matched with a 30 second strike of a check by Big Oil, who would not even bat an eye while doing it.

Those who thought that America was on the downslope during the Bush Administration will see it continue its cascade into obscurity with Obama at the helm. Not that this cataclysmic decision was his, just unfortunately happened during his Administration. The Colonization of the Middle East by the United States of Chevron had begun under Bush, will have had faced a brief hiatus under Obama, but will continue with full fury during the next 50 years of Republican rule. Over the next two years,we will fight our little battles for Health Care and Social Security and ending "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", but 2012 really will be the end of life as we all know it. Maybe not quite as catastrophic as the movie portrays, but for those of us Americans who still cry when the National Anthem is played, we will cry even more when it is replaced with quotes from a new age, Orwellian future.

I'm not normally a pessimist, but it is the erie silence from everyone on this juggernaut subject that has me so concerned. The President, during the State of the Union Address in January was the last time I heard a peep about it. It is already April, the clock is ticking people...

If reelection is a concern I dont think Obama needs to worry about it considering the current crop of lunatics at the top of the GOP.

I do agree that ruling needs to be rescinded in some way.
