Alabama: Secretary of State investigating voter fraud charges
With the primary just eight days away, Secretary of State Beth Chapman is investigating allegations of voter fraud in at least four Black Belt counties.

Chapman's office announced Monday that it has received complaints of alleged voter fraud in Greene, Macon, Perry and Wilcox counties.

"Voter fraud undermines the fundamental rights of democracy," Chapman said in a news release. "In order for a healthy republic to survive, we must remember the principle of 'one person, one vote'. The days of public officials being chosen in smoke-filled backrooms are gone."

Chapman did not specify in her release how many complaints she's received, but her chief of staff, Emily Thompson, said in some counties there have been multiple complaints.

1. Let me guess: Ms. Chapman is a Republican. Like that 'Black Belt counties' thing.
Nice touch, Alabama.

2. The term was first used to designate the color of the soil.
The area known as Black Belt actually is widespread.

You might be interested to knowing about this place, which has become rather famous
in Alabama.

It is not necessarily a racist term.

4. Chapman is a Republican and a Rove-bot, you got that right.
Guv. Riley is well known for being buddies with Rove and for firing the previous
Sec. of State so Chapman could slither into the position.

5. Let me guess too. She'll discover in short order that the Dems have been stealing votes.

7. Hey, maybe she can look into ELECTION fraud while she's at it ... no? Too much to ask?
Well, just put up a pretense of doing something meaningful, then. As you were, ma'am.

8. Steal a little and they call you thief; steal a lot and they call you President.
Acorn defunded, while Rove builds a new shadow RNC with unlimited funds.
