SALT LAKE CITY—
About 100 demonstrators gathered at the Capitol Rotunda Monday, angry about how Utah's political boundaries are being drawn.
The demonstrators claim they have been repeatedly ignored as lawmakers draw the lines for school board, House, Senate and Congress.
"They know it's wrong. We know it's wrong and it's time we let them know we know it's wrong," shouts one protest leader to an uproarious applause.
Activists served up pizza and donuts outside the Capitol, most supporting Salt Lake County as a donut, with its urban core keeping Utah's lone Democrat in Congress. But Republicans seem to favor a pizza slice format, splitting the state into four equal districts of urban and rural ...
