Willie Brown is helping Ed Lee steal the SF mayor's race
just like he helped Newsom steal it.

It's the same old all over again. Avalos (whom I did not support) clearly had the momentum just like Matt did against Newsom.

I wonder if he will get away with it again.

1. What is that all about, anyway?
I'm still relatively new to SF politics, and am unfamiliar with most of the political history and players, but how is it being stolen?

3. I'm sorry to post something so inflammatory and go away.
lol

I'll have to go again because all hell is breaking loose at work but, earlier there were incidents of Lee supporters filling out ballots for voters. Last night, the media outlets were all but declaring Avalos the winner. This morning, Lee has a big lead. I have to gather more information, will this afternoon.

In the Newsom 1st race, Newsom was behind so they brought in Bill Clinton to stump here for him. Willie Brown used city personnel to campaign for Newsom and a bunch of ballots were found floating in the bay. Matt's signs papered the city and like Avalos this time, his cowbell was the loudest before the counting started. But, there was no way the owners of San Francisco were going to let him win, I guess.

Our elections are crooked as hell.

I'll see what I can dig up later in the day.

5. Here in SF what the locals want --
and what the State Democratic Machine want are often two differant things. Somehow, magically, the Machine always wins. :puke: Ed Lee is pure Machine, Avalos is the pick of most of the (non-Chinese) locals.

Lee's team got busted in Chinatown pre-filling out ballots for Chinese voters.

7. Whelp, it's still info gathering time.
I haven't even been able to check the count yet!

And I'm being lectured by people who believe that our election system is fraud proof, which it ain't.

8. I may just have to come out of retirement about this.
There's no point in having ranked choice voting if your choice isn't a real choice, is there?

4. In the Newsom race, Brown did everything from vote buying
to dispatching city sanitation workers to the Newsom campaign to ballot destruction. Nobody was going to stop his machinations, TPTB wanted Newsom. There were witnesses to my first two claims and the ballot destruction was never attributed to him but he was the driving force behind Newsom so it's hard to know who else would have organized it.
