something is wrong
i mean even tucker carlson predicted a kerry sweep.

Zogby predictied a larger margin...

millions of dollars used to flush out new democratic voters...

hundreds of thousands of new voters turned out... one in 7 voters didn't vote in 2000... most, if not all voted for kerry...

not many "new" votes came out for Bush...

all exit polls showed a larger lead...

what is wrong? why are we not sweeping Bush?

I can smell a conspiracy.

something is odd here.

56. It worked in 2000!!!!

The final stroke in the 2000 vote theft was the computer voting terminal in Volusia county!!!!

If we don't stop them now, we will NEVER stop them. This is a coup on Democracy. And if they get away with it THIS time without a fight, we will NEVER have another fair and free election!!!!!

Ohio - all fucked up and home of DIEBOLD = looking like Bush

3. ....
And Dems will probably just lay down and take it up the ass for another 4 years until we run Hillary in '08. Gotta FIGHT this. *All* the polls in the country were swinging his way in the last week, and the Democratic GOTV effort was amazing, especially in Ohio.

So how? How does this happen? And will someone have the balls to try and fight it?

Did you miss the long lines of people in Ohio standing out in the cold rain for hours to vote? The long lines of people EVERYWHERE waiting for hours to vote?

Please, this delay in admitting that Kerry is the President Elect is due to media whore compliance with the VRWC, Diebold/ES&S/other vote stealing systems, and good old reTHUGlican voter suppression tactics.

If Bush wins,I'm going on a rampage. Look, it's one of three things: either Bush/rove tinkered with this election also, or It's too early to get the final results, or America is too stupid to know what's best and Bush wins.

GOP was after their church people and you still have to re-call lots of people who really are Dem voted for Bush because of this war and keeping them safe. I heard people say it my self and you could not talk to these people. Odd way to think to me. It happened under Bush and he started the war but every one does not look at it like I do.

13. the religious insanity is spreading....
The majority of Americans don't give a damn about wars or the environment or personal freedoms. Their primary concerns are suppressing gay rights, limiting womens' rights to choose, and making certain that their religious ideology dominates the national agenda.
That's the sad fact. The sadder fact is that we can't go back and relive the Civil War...and lose. If the Conferacy were an independent nation, the United States might have the chance of being a great nation.
I'm very disheartened, and really want out..

but I don't want to leave.

Maybe we need this to happen...

We've been hammering away at Bush supporters for the last several years. We were vindicated when the war turned into a mess. Yet they still voted for Bush.
Maybe the economic message needs to slam people for them to get it.

19. Black. Box. Voting.
From Air America's homepage:

Touching Florida: Voter Update

It's happening folks. As the votes roll in, so do the shady dealings. Congressmen Wexler warned voters to double check the results of their touch screen voting machines. He's been getting calls from voters claiming that when they tried to vote for Kerry, they found Bush's name selected. The new TS machines in Florida also gave George W. Bush a several thousand vote lead before anyone even laid a finger on them, thereby "effectively voiding" votes for John Kerry. Also in Florida, a failed optical scan machine is forcing election officials to recount about 13,000 ballots in Volusia County.

30. I will never stop criticizing my government
for neglecting its duties to its citizens, for failing to secure the American people, for opposing equal rights for all, for demolishing my civil liberties, for ruining our global reputation, for making a mockery of our Constitution.

We can shut our mouths, as you suggest, and toil away silently as the neocon government chews us up and spits us out. We can stand silently and watch while our liberties are eroded. Or we can hold the government accountable.

36. It's not giving up..
..it's realizing that we had a chance to strike when the iron was hot, when people were most against the war. We had a chance to clearly define what it was to be a Democrat, to set ourselves apart. Instead, we nominated a candidate who adopted the language of the "war on terror," who sat still when his opponents smeared his record, who did a poor job of presenting his image to voters. It's not just the war: it's everything else Kerry did that was so horribly, horribly wrong.

34. DUH! IT IS FIXED ... WILL ANYONE LISTEN?
You are absolutely correct. How many times do I have to repeat it? For the rest of my life?

* All exit polls had Kerry ahead in in FL and OH

* All Democrats were completely confident, based (I'm sure) on internal polls. Kennedy said Kerry won. He was sure.

* Canadian TV (CTV) said it will be an early landslide (their word) for Kerry. They had inside information.

* Exit polls have always been correct, until they pulled FLorida away from Gore.

* In the midterm elections, the same thing happened. Polls nationwide favored Democrats, then the GOP won every state -- and the exit polls vanished.

* Every historical predictor pointed to a Kerry victory. And everything reversed itself. And any of you trust the Republican-owned voting machines?

Are we going to just accept this, like we did in Florida four years ago?

52. This reminds me so much of 2002 in Ga.
The shock and disbelief -- Perdue the first repub gov since reconstruction. Clelland losing with wide shift in votes from polls.

Guess they tested the machines in GA 2002 and when they were so successful, just expanded their operations.

I don't think the small army of people who are working to catch this kind of fraud are going to just roll over. I know the GA activists won't. They are determined and relentless.

I am mostly worried about all the young people who came out to change a corrupt system. How would they feel in 2008? Would they come out and vote? Would they still believe that their vote matters?

I still believe that we will win OH, though. It's just the wait that drives me nuts...and when are they going to report on MN, IA, NV, etc.?

57. Statistically improvable that all results would be this close
It appears to be hight improvable that the results of both elections could possibly be this close. It sounds cute to say that every vote counts. Really what are the odds of this happening everywhere in this country. It is not reasonable to believe that all of these races are literally within a few votes. It is much much more reasonable to assume that the vote counts are being manipulated.
