5. Actually the Feet mean footprints (evidence) and the Red is for Republican

It also has connections with th "White Hands" movement in South America. Those of you who know what I am talking about know that whenever they have a protest, they paint their hands white and protest. I personally think the feet are better because they are something that people can identify quickly with (where red shoes, or paint feet red). The thumb print is hard to do anything with other than put it on a poster.

7. I'm not sure my own preference but...

be creative... you could do a lot with either.

T-shirts, Hats, Stickers, Magnets -- both work equally well with or without the words (ribbon + feet or ribbon + fingerprint)

Feet - paint feet red, wear red shoes

Fingerprint - paint fingertips red, wear red gloves

Excellent both of them

but people associate the footprints as a friendly ,laid back symbol.
on the other hand
a fingerprint means crime and investigation

We should all be aware that the black ribbon has been adopted for "free speech/stop censorship" or the free exchange of idea on the internet. It's also used for "Amish on the Internet" (a little bizarre if you ask me!)

i just looked again and I was more drawn to look around for more information about why its there.

I was thinking it would hit you quiker if the words where on top of the print.

15. I'd suggest a third icon...

....one showing a barrier of some kind indicating that the most obvious of all the forms of systemic disenfranchisement -- voter suppression -- is also the one that immediately and irrevocably invalidates this election.

as in they need to get caught red-handed!

Second favorite is the fingerprint, third favorite is the footprint.

Just my personal preferece -- ALL of these are VERY good -- you are one talented person!

16. What about red handed

Certainly they have been caught red handed with the fixing of this election. This also lends itself to the hand painting that someone mentioned in respect to the white hand movement. Someone being caught red handed is a phrase most people would understand as opposed to red feet that looks like a surfing motif.

19. Whatever we chose, we need to chose it and STICK WITH IT!!!

It is great that people are taking a hold of the idea and trying to make it better!

Once we have a fairly agreeable graphic, we need to "call it" and say that's it, otherwise we will never actually get anything to happen and will never get anything done. Everyone wants to put their part in, which is good, but at some point we need to say, "that's it, we are the _______ Movement."

The thumbprint is a go. It would be a great bumper sticker and thing to stick all over the place, and to have on signs.

I am intrigued with the idea of the foot prints on the vote--as in
Don't Tread on Me (from revolutionary era). That used a snake, I think.

But I was thinking....maybe foot prints on the word VOTE, or on a checked ballot symbol like so many have here as avatars.

I think of foot prints carrying anger, anger and marching are in the feet, like on that video Mosh. Get on your feet!

I can get behind Don't Tread On my Vote! as a chant, stomping my way, holding my sign! And Get on Your Feet! Count the Vote!

And it connects us to the revolutionary spirit of our ancestors, no less.

But then I am a 50-year old nerd, as my kids are fond of reminding me.

counties since Nov. 3rd... eveyone knows that is bung, even us... if you are going to claim that we don't know what we are talking about, then maybe you should get to know what we are talking about better. And I am not going to sum it up for you because it would take days to do so. LOOK AT THE OTHER THREADS!

31. It doesn't take thousands

It takes a handful of computer guys who wrote the code. Code, which they won't let anyone see, owned by a private company, and which is not audited (and ANYTHING that required accuracy and security should be audited, common practice in the IT world).

There's been posts on the simple math of all this. It would take very few votes per precinct to really screw up the results -- and when there are proven "irregularities" (like 4000 extra votes for Bush in Warren County, Ohio), it needs to be investigated... whether it was intentional or not.

Our democracy depends on us getting the vote count RIGHT.

and BTW, your post is off topic. We are discussing slogans and logos for the "stop election fraud" movement. Start your own post to discuss why you think there wasn't any fraud... I'm sure you'll get tons of replies ;)
