Any Jonathan Kellerman fans here?

I love most all of his books. He's one of the few mystery authors who's written dozens of novels over several decades but still managed to keep his act fresh, his writing good and his feet planted firmly on the ground. All that and he's also a DNC contributor (although he did donate to John "maverick when the media's looking" McCain earlier) and has one of the least stereotypical gay characters you are ever likely to encounter.

Yes, I like him a lot, though haven't read a new one recently. And detective Milo, a crusty old guy who is a beloved character.

4. I LOVE him!

Milo Stugis and Rick are great! And the French bull dog. Did anyone else cry when Spike died? I cried my eyes out! Aaaaaaaaaw, but the cute little puppy Robin got ~~ that likes Alex the best so far ~~ did put a smile on my face!

These books are especially interesting because I live in the location where most are set. When he writes about the "405," I can so truly picture being stuck in traffic on that beast of a freeway! Plus ~~ at one time I owned a Seville just like Alex has ~~ same year, but different color.

I have several of both his and his wife's books on my site for sale.

6. I love Jonathan Kellerman!

I thought I had read every one of his books, but yesterday I took out "Self-Defense" from the library. I don't THINK I've read it, though occasionally I do start to read a book and then think, "Wait a minute-- this sounds awfully familiar!"

I also recently discovered Stephen White, who's also a psychologist turned mystery writer, with a shrink as the protagonist. I'm liking his books as well.

8. I like both Jonathan and Faye Kellerman

Most of Faye Kellerman's books have the unusual setting of the Orthodox Jewish community of Los Angeles, and the main character is a police detective (whose description sounds an awful lot like Jonathan) who, in the first book, The Ritual Bath, falls in love with a young Orthodox widow. I'm not giving away too much to say that he converts and they marry and are the central figures in all the subsequent books in that series.

9. Reading Jonathan Kellerman's "True Detectives" right now

and as with everything he's written, it is top notch. This guy is one of my all time favorite writers and I've read most all of his novels, starting when he first released one in 1985.

I just can't get into her. They have a grown kid who is author too. I gave one of his books a go, but didn't enjoy the book.

15. Just glanced over my first Faye Kellerman book...

I don't think I'll read it, too much religion, or maybe Faye is just too young for me. This book's entitled, SACRED AND PROFANE. I'd like to try another by her because she's so popular - maybe this is the wrong book to start with..
