I couldn't read, "The Memory Keeper's Daughter"
After the first two chapters it just was boring. I skipped ahead and finally, finally in the end. Could've been better. Too many cliched lines, etc. Sure glad I didn't buy it.

1. i bought it friday and i love it. i've not finished it yet but whenever i have the chance to pick it
up and read it, i find it hard to put it down. it is a page turner for me.

sometimes when i like a book as much as i do this one, i keep myself from reading the book for a couple of days so as to postpone coming to the end of the book. (crazy, isn't it? but if i like a book i hate to have to come to the end of it and part with it).

2. I can understand.
This book just didn't work its magic on me. Well written though, that's for sure.

3. i finally just finished the book ...
for me i found it to have a valuable lesson in there somewhere, i continued to like to the end, and i understand not being able to read through a book ... that happened to me a long time ago with the poetry of federico garcia lorca.

4. Kind of felt the same way
My girlfriend was reading it on vacation last summer and raving about it. So I read it, but I found it hard to slog through. Well written, but slow and depressing-- didn't really enjoy it.
